Abruzzo has lots of truffles; the searched tuber is present in our region in many kinds. Abruzzo’s truffles have intense and unmistakable tastes and smells.
In Abruzzo’s truffle production, a honourable place goes to white truffle, the most renowed and searched by demanding palates. A large part of regional production is represented by black diamond of Abruzzo’s cookery. An other important kind is the summer truffle, with delicate and appetizing taste. Today truffle is also used to flavour sausages, oil and pecorino cheese. |
